With MD11 being concluded, it is time to review the first half of the season and it’s positives & negatives.

Positive Surprises
Vienna
Despite their lackluster performance last season, their new recruits have been firing at an all-time high and have Vienna in first place, quite convincingly so. They’ve gone unbeaten in their first 11 league games this season and have only dropped once. They are the clear title favourites and with recent arrival Max Jaxon, who knows the heights they can reach.
Zagreb
After their late fall from grace during season one, many expected the rapid decline to continue. However, the tactical ingenuity has Zagreb in second place, only five points away from first. Despite playing 3 games less so far this season, they’ve already surpassed last season’s points totals and are a serious threat to Vienna’s title charge.
Bebe Barry
Our very own Romelu Lukaku. Technical limitations, no brain, just power. Bebe Barry has been used as a utility man this season for Zagreb, being the anchor in midfield as well as their focal point up top. Bebe Barry has 9 goals and 6 assists so far this season, meaning he has more G/A than the likes of Bendtner, Knull, Tate and Jethro.
Moritz Hoffmann
A full back turned striker, no one could’ve expected his output of 20 goals in all competitions so far has him as the clear golden boot favourite. Him alone might be the reason Vienna either wins or loses the title. A lot of pressure on the shoulders of the German, but the veteran has so far shown he’s able to mount it without issue.
Negative Surprises
Matthew Lennon
Supposedly one of the better defenders in the league, a lot of people were excited when he took on the captaincy of AD Lisboa however, it wasn’t to be. Lennon has been in FOUR (!) clubs in half a season, setting a new record. This mercenary has no heart and as far as we are concerned, should be put down like the dog he is.
Norden
One of the four title challengers from last season, no one could’ve predicted this fall from grace. Despite Kalle Knull leaving for another team, Norden still had largely what was last season’s squad. An all more absent captain and losing the core Nordic players, who knows if they’ll ever return to their ‘glory’ days.
