FSL Player Focus – Scooter McGavin
By Ben Darr
Featuring in our second FSL Player Focus is Manchester Athletic wing back Scooter McGavin. The American joined the league in the S8 winter window as part of the user player draft.
Who are you? “My name is Scooter McGavin, energetic, loud, technically inept American RM/RWB.” The player describes himself as non-religious, but very spiritual. Unconfirmed reports of the player being schizophrenic.
What is your background? “I earned the nickname “School Scooter McGavin” in 9th grade when I missed a penalty so badly it hit the school building behind the pitch. Subsequently, I was expelled the next day for bringing a gun to school to silence the haters.” The player claims he found Jesús in prison. Jesús taught him how to fold burritos, fold laundry and how to NOT fold under pressure. Jesús was also an excellent money launderer and imparted his wisdom to Scooter before he was shanked in the showers.
What are your current career aspirations? Being a rookie in his late 20’s, Scooter is looking to cement himself in Manchester’s XI. Head coach Turbo has been confident in Scooter and encouraging behind the scenes.
What kind of legacy would you like to leave on FSL? Perhaps unsurprisingly, Scooter wishes to achieve “more goals / assists than murders” As club launderer, sources close to the club reveal his intention to keep clean sheets on and off the pitch as well as clean books.
Any additional notes? “No, fuck yourself.” The player once again showing maturity well beyond his age.
