Match report Doze-portivo Lisboa vs. De-bore-tivo Madrid
By: Ray Porter
Madrid vs. Lisboa had the promises of an exciting game, as FSL’s 5th and 6th placed teams faced off in a game that could decide their league placements, as they started the matchday level on points. As we grew accustomed to, Madrid played in a very defensive formation.
Evidently, this lead to both teams trying to out bore each other. According to insomniacs in both cities, doctors have been prescribing the first half as one of the most potent sleeping drugs, as neither team actually tried to score a goal, Madrid was content with a solid defence, while Lisboa was just retaining possession. Thus, both teams went into half-time without a shot on target.
The second half was only barely more exciting as one team actually got a shot on target this time around: Deep inside his own half, Billy Boyo decided to play it back to Center Back Cheeky Marsala, who immediately launched the ball towards Lisboa’s back line. Profiting from Knull’s reluctance to clear the ball, Jase Ballenger knocked the ball through to Lucifer Grealish, who was running through on goal. Despite being caught by Greg Gregg, the youngster smashed the ball into the top corner past a chanceless Bulka Bango-Bongo.
Madrid would end up winning the game 1-0 as both teams forgot how to attack after this.
