Having just won one out of their last six league fixtures, Lisboa hope to build on their MD 13 victory against FC Istanbul. Paris, on the other hand, are yet to win following the end of the League Cup.
Following a slow start from the Portuguese, it was the Parisians who would take control of the match, creating a sequence of chances. After their initial push, it was Lisboa who would strike first. In the 34th minute, Alexander Whelan flicked on a pass from Ahmed Zidane to the feet of Batmo Biel. With a bit of trickery, the red haired midget struck gold from outside the box, giving Lisboa the lead.
Going into half-time, both teams were happy with their performances so far, with neither team making any tactical changes.
Following a deflection from Ahmed Zidane's cross-field pass, full back Kermit Dafrog would find himself in an unlikely position, through on goal. Showing off his skills, he hit it on the half-volley and doubled Lisboa's lead.
Lisboa wouldn't stop there, as just five minutes later, Kenan Bosnic scored the Portuguese club's third goal of the night, and a very important one for his confidence.
The rest of the half would pass by without any further goals being scored. However, Lisboa came close to extending their lead, with Kermit Dafrog hitting the post. The result sees Lisboa remain in their 9th place, inching closer to Milano and Norden ahead of them. Paris, however, have fallen all the way to 14th, and have it all to do if they are to survive relegation.
