Lisboa able to hold off Vienna for 90 minutes, eliminated anyway

In the first leg of this quarter-final matchup, Lisboa found themselves down and out as Vienna put three past back-up keeper Tiji Mango, giving them what seemed like an insurmountable lead.

Lisboa's star attackers Knull and Wood would start the game as defenders. This game would end scoreless, but there were some moments worth sharing. In the 15th minute, the Lisboa defense was able to prevent a goal chance by Bendtner. Shortly after, a Hoffmann cross found Jaxon in the box, but his header went wide of the goal post.

In the 35th minute, Bendtner was able to get a first time shot off, but it was off target. Lisboa was unable to create any chances in the first half. Mungo Scuyazelv moved into an attacking position to mix up the play in the 2nd half.

Lisboa's best chance came in the 77th minute as Tom John played Kodai Senga in behind the Vienna defense, but Petrov read it well and eliminated the threat quickly. Neither side would muster a better chance on goal and the game would end, 0-0. Had Lisboa started the 1st leg like they did the 2nd leg, maybe things would have ended differently.
