Agachutchu eliminates Deportivo Madrid

In the final matchup of the Lilacs FA Cup Quarterfinals, Berlin take their two goal aggregate lead to Madrid. One away goal for Berlin would see Madrid all but beaten, needing four goals to overcome that deficit. The visitors are led by player of the tournament front-runner, Babatunde Agachuthu and the hosts led by their captain Billy Boyo.
An event-less first half saw Madrid shaking things up at half-time. They needed two goals to send the match to extra time, three to win. Berlin, in the driver's seat, looked to maintain possession as they did in the first half. Berlin was able to get a counter-attack chance around the 60th minute, but Agachuthu's finish went wide of the net, registering the first shot of the match.
Even with five attackers on the pitch, Madrid was unable to register a shot until the 80th minute. Colton Russell Jr gives away another free kick in a bad area in this matchup, this time receiving a yellow card for his troubles. Boyo did not have a wall to deal with this time, but his effort was far from troubling the goalkeeper; the score remains 0-0. Madrid made one final push to get a late goal, but Berlin was able to intercept and immediately counter, giving Agachuthu a late knock-out punch right to Boyo's chin; Berlin advanced 3-0 on aggregate.
