MD 19: FC AMSTERDAM 2-3 MILANO CALCIO
First win in 7 for Milano Calcio as FC Amsterdam concedes 3 in 9 minutes

Following their derby draw in a mostly defensive formation, FC Amsterdam's captain Jack David tried to force more chances for his side in a match against 6 game winless Milano. He achieved a more entertaining game through a string of interesting decisions, starting out in a 433 which would play as a 3214 in attack with the Left Back coming inside and becoming a part of a front 4 attack. Milano on the other hand decided on a solid 4231 with Raiden Vokovic running into the space left by the striker and inverting wingers.
And at first it seemed like David's ideas were working: when attacking, Amsterdam had situations where they outnumbered their opposition while Karl Maurer, Edward Boama and Arlo Jones kept things tight at the back. Amsterdam often won the ball back high up the pitch. That would also be the way they scored their first goal: Dmytro Jr. wins a 1v1 in the middle of the park and after a few passes finds JD Parkour near the box. The completely unmarked left back Martinez makes a run towards the back line, is found by Parkour and smashes it into the bottom corner. Amsterdam had several chances, like a Dmytro Jr. header from 3 meters out which barely went wide, but were too inefficient to use them.
Milano would punish them 3 times for it in a span of 9 minutes. Arlo Jones fouled Vokovic near the box in a completely harmless situation, then lost his man immediately after. Vokovic would play a quick free kick to the now unmarked Babatunde, who would finish into the lower right corner. Their second goal would come from a quick counter when Arlo Jones stepped out of the defensive line, losing Babatunde, to pressure Schneider who would play an easy pass to Babatunde, with another pass he found Agachuthu who scored. Amsterdam lost their head and conceded a third from a back-post header by Miguel, who would find the back of the net on his debut.
A 90+1st minute 3-2 by Blatand after a good combination by Amsterdam would be too little too late, a disastrous Arlo Jones performance ruined Amsterdam's chances of walking away with three points.
