After a draw and two losses, the Berlin vice captain steps up and switched to a 3-3-1-3 with attacking midfielder Floyd Lawton right behind a front 3 of Senga-Tomar-Diego. On the other hand, Roma are still in search of a clean sheet, and they went in with a back 4, where Megumin and Freulerista were pushed high up on the wings and Lucca Rizzo played as an attacking mid behind a single striker.
A simple pass by Diego from the right flank, and Tomar Jr. opened the scoring at 6th minute. Roma looked comfortable with the ball for the remaining first half but couldn't make any good scoring chance as Berlin defense was as solid as a rock. At 45+3' Colton Russell Jr. sent a low cross to the penalty area from a short corner and Maalik Wagner doubled their lead.
From the start of the second half, Roma tried to use their attacking width, but they were unable to penetrate the Berlin back line. At 67th minute Berlin won the ball in defensive half and made a quick counter. It was a one-two pass on the right wing by Lawton and Tomar Jr. scored his 2nd goal from the edge of the box. In the 76th minute, Berlin had another good counter, this time from the left wing where Colton Russell Jr. sent in a left-footed cross into the box and Tomar Jr. scored a heading goal to complete his hat-trick.
