Warsaw were hosted at Istanbul's home ground, and were expected to draw with them. Not much was expected from this game, mostly deemed the most boring game of the Match day. The game started and Istanbul kicked the game off. The two rookie clubs gave it all they had, and it didn’t really show much, both having some chances, but mostly trying to keep possession. Eventually, at the half an hour mark, Muka Lodrić was at the end of a cross, heading the ball down into the net, scoring for Istanbul, and also scoring the only goal of the night. Although there were some chances, Mancini getting a chance after the goal, yet he couldn’t convert it. Half-time rolled around, both teams making tactical substitutions, and the game continued. Istanbul saved multiple chances, yet Warsaw did as well, both having equal chances and having equal possession rates. People’s expectations were met, and the game ended in a measly 1-0 win for the Turkish side, yet Warsaw missed out on the full 3 points, and the 1 lone point also. In the end, Istanbul were the better side, and they had the better side that day.
