In a lopsided clash between Madrid, currently seated 5th in the league table, and struggling Belgrade, who find themselves at the bottom, the Spaniards asserted their dominance with an impressive 3-0 triumph. Despite possession being evenly split, Madrid's clinical finishing and resolute defense ensured Belgrade remained unable to muster a single shot throughout the match.
The opening goal came in the 42nd minute when seasoned striker Løord Bendtner found the back of the net thanks to a precise assist from Billy Boyo. The goal set the tone for Madrid's offensive prowess, leaving Belgrade scrambling to mount a response. The first half concluded with Madrid leading 1-0, showcasing their control over the proceedings.
