Norden vs Amsterdam was a very tense even game. It was near impossible to predict who would go through, with the game having to be decided on pens.
Amsterdam took the lead after Bai Chao finished a beautiful through ball. A crucial goal which came just before the halftime whistle. Norden didn't take long to find an equaliser in the second half. The captain, Andrew Tate, scored with a tidy finish. Both sides, not sure whether to attack or defend, took the game to Extra Time.
Extra Time was full of half chances, with both teams afraid to commit, preparing for penalties. Penalties seemed to be going Norden's way, going 100% in the first three penalties, while Amsterdam missed one.
However, Norden's captain, Andrew Tate, let his team down, missing the fourth penalty. Amsterdam capitalised on this, making the score level.
In sudden death, Oliver Kat was denied by the keeper, giving Amsterdam the chance to win the game. It was Amsterdam’s hero Alexi Williams who scored the winning penalty, sending the Dutch into a frenzy.
