MD 17: NORDEN FK 6-1 FK BELGRADE
Norden came back with a bang, decimating Belgrade.

It's the coldest time of the year, time for the coldest team in FSL to show off! Norden started the game with their usual 4-1-3-2 formation, while Belgrade were hoping to find presents under their 4-3-2-1 Christmas Tree formation. But despite looking like a Santa Claus after a week in Hawaii, Thor Odinson wasn't going to treat Serbian kids nicely.
The first 20 minutes of the game looked quite competitive. Norden's captain did a few failed attempts on goal, and the last placed team was hoping on set pieces. 23 minutes into the game, Jacob Hill got sandwiched by two Norden's defenders and earned a free kick for his team, right in front of the penalty box. Mendez-Gomez had no problems with turning the moment into the goal. The guests thought the game was in their pocket. But they were wrong…
4 minutes after, Thor Odinson put his first goal in the match, after a fantastic pass from Fred Gould. In the last minutes of the first half, Amal Spitz sent a powerful shot on goal after a corner, which turned out to be an assist for Norden's #69.
Losing a lead right before going on a half-time break, Belgrade needed a drastic change in their plan, so they took a risk and went all-or-nothing. The fate gave them nothing: in the last 15 minutes of the game, the hosts humiliated the balkan team with 4 goals: a double from Moise Bean and a completed haul by the captain.
A night to remember for the Santa With A Hammer, and a night to forget for the league debutants. If they keep playing like that, only a New Year's miracle can save them from relegation.
