Norden disappoint in supposed top-of-the-table clash
By: Ray Porter
Matchweek 5's potential dream fixture saw last season's first and second placed team square off as Norden FK welcome London Wembley Wanderers. However, since then things changed a lot for the Scandinavian team as they only racked up 4 points in their opening 4, leaving supporters disappointed.
The Fifth minute almost saw a Norden lead as Andrew Tate took a good freekick which eventually hit the bar. After a bunch of Norden half-chances, Hajji got sent into the box in the 26th minute, but was denied by the Keeper. This marked London's first good chance. As both teams lacked the chances and efficiency for a lead, the game was still 0-0 at the break.
With both teams continuing to take shots from bad angles, the second half proved itself to be a difficult watch. Ray Peest send viewers into ecstasy as his 82nd minute shot goes past the Keeper. His goal was assisted by Amine Amzal. London held onto their lead, pushing up to Second Place. Meanwhile, Norden drop down to 8th and find themselves in a relegation fight in the early stages of the season.
