Vienna trounce Norden FK in a battle of title candidate
By: Ray Porter
Match day 4 of FSL's second season saw last year's second placed team Norden FK face Vienna Kontintental, who won all three of their opening fixtures. With confidence flying high, Vienna dominated in the first few minutes, culminating in an early lead. After a good spell of possession, Matheus dos Reis found Hoffmann inside the box. After a quick turn, the striker scored into the bottom left corner.
It took Norden some time to respond, but in the 29th minute it was Arif Nazhim who scored in excellent fashion with a back heel shot after a sloppy first touch nearly saw him bottle a good chance after a great ball from Oliver Kat.
Vienna broke the deadlock in the 70th minute, as Hoffmann played through to Siefad Rahman. The tricky winger then laid it off to Bradley Keetch who was unmarked in the box and scored past Myung Choi. The goal came in clutch for "die Wiener" as they held onto their tight lead throughout the rest of the game.
