Only Three points from relegation, Roma urgently wanted to beat Berlin. They set up a unique fluid formation to throw the usual wide 3-1-2-1-3 Berlin formation off. Berlin was in fine form and this was no easy game for Roma, who have the worst form in the league.

Berlin is known for being possession specialists, and it was no different here. They nearly achieved double Roma’s successful passes in the first half. Apart from Berlin’s possession, there was nothing else of note. With only one shot off target, it was a first half no one would remember.

Roma made one change, bringing on Rulando for Bean. Roma started the second half with more intensity. Eventually, around the 60th min, the deadlock was broken. Moretti alone near the corner flag sends in a near post cross for Henry Kamel. Kamel leaps for the ball, getting enough contact for it to loop over the non-existent goalkeeper, who is barely taller than your average nine-year-old.

Berlin were not going to lie down as they brought on Hans-Adam and Ludvik Steffanson. Roma, already thinking about the huge three points that would almost secure safety, forgot about Berlin’s super sub. In the 82nd minute, Cuzza Brown sends a beautiful pass into Ludvik’s feet, who spins Maccarone and rifles in the equaliser. Demoralized, Roma struggled to push for the winner, and it was Berlin pushing for a second, but it wasn’t enough, ending the game at 1-1. Relegation is still lingering for Roma.

Cuzza Brown, sets up the important equaliser and had the left side on lock defensively. Since he brought his winner's mentality from London to Berlin, they have looked like a new team.

Cristiano Rulando, came on to provide an impact but, just like his idol, hid at the big moment. Dropping a 4.5 as a sub had to be the flop of the match.
