Two mid-table clubs face off on match day 10 as Nomades de Paris travel to Germany to play SC Hamburg 23. Hamburg would have several personnel changes after an eventful transfer window that saw four new players join. Three of the four were named starters: Rocky D'Gaud, Dorian Stefan, and Carlton Drinkwater while Ethan Lederman was named to the bench. Paris, coming off a 4-1 win at home against Warsaw, named an unchanged starting lineup.
Fans had to wait until the 30th minute for the first chance of the game. Oscar Piastri lays it off for Akiyama "Sushi Taco" Hernandez on the edge of the box, and he attempts a first-time shot with his left. Humphree Klock makes a brilliant diving, one-handed save to deny a certain goal, and Joe Bee clears it out for a corner.
Paris would counter effectively and produce their first chance just a few moments later. After a collision in the box, the ball fell cleanly to Pussy Jackson, who put his laces through the ball to beat Becky Blake, but his effort went off the post and back into play. That is where Karl Lehmann was able to pounce on it, and his attempted first-time rebound shot went wide of the goal.
A brilliant chance for the visitors, as an interception initiated a quick counter for Paris. Lehmann played winger Chris Moke in behind the Hamburg defense, leaving him 1-on-1 with Blake. The more experienced keeper positioned herself well, and Moke was denied. The score would stay 0-0 into halftime.
After a thrilling first-half, neither side was able to produce a single shot in the second, resulting in a stalemate of epic proportions. Despite strong possession by Paris for the majority of the second half, they were unable to make any clear chances. On the other hand, Hamburg played the counter well enough to get something from the match but were outmatched by the strong Parisian defense.
