MATCHDAY 3 REVIEW by Samantha Lennon, Amsterdam Evening News
VK Vienna 0-0 Zagreb NK
Vienna were decent in their opening games, coming away with a win and a loss, proving that you can win with lacking numbers of defenders (Norden take hints). Whilst Zagreb went one better, with a win and a draw against some good opposition. On paper, it should've been an interesting game.
In the first half, nothing happened. Absolutely nothing. The only shot in the half was from Zagreb, but both teams were awful. No substitutions were made at the break. The second half followed a similar pattern. Once again, nothing happened. Kane made way for Martinez on 77' in search of a Zagreb winner, but it just didn't come. The game finished a scoreless draw. Zagreb were the much better team throughout the game, and should've won.
A Samantha fact: Zagreb had quintuple the amount of shots that Vienna had. Zagreb managed 5 shots, whilst Vienna didn't manage any shots, in typical Mungo fashion.
