Schwinghammer? Ironic, as AD Lisboa get hammered in Portugal

By: Samantha Lennon-Davidson, Forta Evening News

Winless under new captaincy, Lisboa hosted a struggling FC Berlin side, as ex-captain Matthew Lennon watched on from the stands - his first appearance in the Portuguese capital since his exit to LP Kerberos.

In the 17th minute, Lisboa had a massive chance when Kalle Knull outmuscled a Berlin defender and sent a delightful cross into an out-of-form Yilmaz, who missed the easiest chance he'll get all season, hitting it at Remmington in the Berlin goal. Must've been taking lessons from Marcus Wood.

3 minutes later, Lisboa's fortunes wouldn't improve as Knull somehow got his way onto the end of a Cox ball, holding off a defender, but then sent his shot towards the post as Lisboa would continue to miss sitter after sitter. Musson replaced Mathijas Cox at half-time, a very weird sub considering Cox was the best attacking player for either team.

Just before the hour mark, Lisboa got what they wanted. Cagatay got to a loose ball first, and sent Kalle Knull through one-on-one, where he made no mistake. Awful defending from the Germans, wouldn't be the first time that's been said, but the Portuguese side wasn't complaining.

In the 86th minute, however, they were complaining. Henrik Schwinghammer, Berlin sub goalkeeper, received a pass from Michael Kent in the box and placed it perfectly into the bottom corner of the net, making the score 1-1. He proceeded to knee slide in front of the Lisboa faithful.

The game finished a draw and Lisboa paid the price for their terrible finishing, continuing a barren run of form and still without a win under new captain Knull. What a massive shame.
