Hamburgers bring ketchup to FSL table
Lisboa 1-2 Hamburg
Even the greatest chef couldn't cook a scenario like that: Hamburg climbing into a Top-5, 5 positions over past Cup winners Lisboa. But here they are, taking a bite of Portuguese kitchen, proving they are not easy to eat.
First half started with a spicy chance for Lisbon's Cagatay Yilmaz, who ran on 1v1 duel with goalkeeper, but couldn't deliver the meal to the customer. Despite both teams described by JMart as "showing consistency in front of the goal", for the next 40 minutes the game got stuck in a tough sauce. It was Oscar Piastri who added flavour to this game by scoring a fat goal on the 42nd minute. And if that was not enough to feed the viewer, just 3 minutes after Piastri repeated the order with a delicious goal!
First half left Lisboa hungry, being fed with 2 conceded. But the hosts were cooking something. After 15 minutes of finding the perfect recipe, Cody Rodrygo made opponents sour on the 62nd minute! 1-2, only one goal left to restore a balanced diet!
Ham eaters weren't going to give up their seat at the table, though. Sushi-Taco continued creating moments, with passes from Banana and his fellow Hamburgers. Perhaps Danny Yogurt was the missing ingredient: without him Lisboa's game was looking bland.
Hamburg left Lisboa broken like an ice cream machine, adding one more sweet victory to their menu. Lisboa had to swallow another bitter defeat, which just rubbed salt into their wounded start of the season.
