Match Summary

Saifddine Tijani's towering header secures all 3 points for the Belgians !

Yureen Sheikh, Dubai TV

The "No Changes FC" Kerberos who are currently at 4th place are up against Brussels at home, the Belgians need at least a point out of this game as they are just above the relegation spot at 10th place. As expected, the mighty Kerberos lined up in their same old 4-2-4 but this time with the newcomer Emero Laden at the left side of the attack, alongside Jethro and Danny behind Bai Chao. On the other side, Brussels lined up in a 3-5-2 with Saifddine Tijani and Adrian Diego as wingbacks, Babatunde and Emir as strikers.

Both teams started the game patiently as Kerberos were trying to build up from the back, while Brussels looked calm and wasn't pressing much in the opposite half. During the 36th minute Scott Jaydeepee gave away a throw-in near the right corner flag, terrible marking from the Kerberos defense as nobody saw Saifddine Tijani running towards the goal from the left wing. It was a beautiful cross by Fahkrul Faris after the throw-in and Tijani scores a bullet header in the top left corner to make it 0-1.

A few tactical adjustments from the away side, Brussels changed their formation to a 5 ATB as they wanted to sit back and defend this lead for the rest of the match. It looked like the Kerberos players gave up too early after the first half goal as with the lack of scoring opportunities they couldn't manage to find an equalizer and punish Brussels late in the game. The defensive change from the Belgians worked very well as the game ended 0-1 and Brussels grabbed a 5 point lead over 11th place Paris.
