Brussels managed to breeze past Hamburg to hand them their third loss in a row.

The Blue Waffles return for another matchday to face the German side Hamburg, who recently came off of a 10-0 and a 1-0 loss against Madrid and Zagreb. Brussels have also came off of a 4 game loss streak before breaking it with a 3-1 win against Milan.

The two teams walked out from the tunnel and emerged on to the pitch to play another thrilling game of football in front of many fans who travelled to watch this potential thriller. It was Hamburg who attempted to capitalise on the shaky Brussels team with constant attacks, but couldn’t get the chances home thanks to good Brussels defence.

The rest of the half would fade away as neither side felt too confident, and were unable to create anything of substance.

The half-time whistle blew, and both teams went back into the changing rooms to have their team talks. And when both teams walked back out, it was certain that the Brussels team talk proved to be affective, as in the 55th minute, Anto Vuković played in a cross from a corner and Gabi Marusa leaped for the ball and slotted it home for a header.

It would only get better for the Belgians from there, as later on, in the 85th minute, Anto Vuković received the ball and flicked it past the keeper to add to Hamburg’s misery, and hand them their third loss in a row.

The full time whistle blew, and the blue waffles managed to walk away with all three points against a struggling Hamburg side. Brussels take Norden's position in the table, now sitting in fifth with 31 points. Whilst Hamburg's position remains the same, the teams below inch closer, and their position in the top half of the table is in danger.
