DEPORTIVO MADRID VS NORDEN FK MATCH RECAP
By: Nicklas Ulykke
Deportivo Madrid's Season 2 started off with a win, taking Norden FK down 3-2 in a close, back and forth game.
Madrid's Turbo Balboa scored a beautiful free kick to break the deadlock in the 26th minute, the ball flying past a helpless, handless, Myung Choi. Norden replied 17 minutes later with a banging strike from Løord Bendtner who celebrated with a SIUUU, imitating his idol Cristiano Ronaldo. Andrew Tate put Norden ahead in the 50th minute after 2 lovely passes from Saifddine Tijani and Jayquan Newton. The latter supplied Tate with an insane cross and his first touch set him up for a header past Becky Blake, which made it 2-1.
Former Norden player, Nico Alvarez made everything level 14 minutes later, shrugging off Juan Narco to unleash a super strike from the edge of the box, assisted by debutant left back Conrad Cedar. In the dying moments of the match Deportivo Madrid right back Kalea Wilson sent a hopeful ball up the right flank that appeared to be taken care of by Jojo Wolfy but the center back included in S1's TOTS stopped running and watched as purple haired Madrid winger Dusty Nipps ran onto the ball, and then made a pointless dangerous slide tackle on the edge of the box after Nipps had already squared the ball into the center of the box for Pepe Mancini who buried it into the bottom corner to make it 3-2 for Madrid.
