Match Summary

A 92nd minute winner seals Vienna's triump in the 'Blitzkrieg Derby'
By: Ray Porter

Vienna Kontinental took the deserved lead by an outstanding finish just outside the box by Bradley Keetch after just five minutes were played. After several half-chances, Moritz Hoffmann doubled their lead in the 33rd minute after King Hart sent him into the box with a brilliant through-ball. Half-time came and went without any Zagreb shot, as both Captains took the break to change the approach of their teams.

Shortly after the game got under way again, Hoffmann scored his second of the evening after a good one-two with Hart, who changed to a ten role at half-time. Being 3-0 up after 50 minutes, Vienna started to crumble, getting hit by multiple through balls behind their defense. In the 57th minute, Neagu converted a long ball by Spaghettini to give Zagreb a lifeline. The Romanian Winger later assisted Bas Kurt's goal to get Zagreb back into the game. The Turk's tidy finish in the Vienna box was very clever.

After Bebe Barry squared it in the last minute of regular time, Neagu took things into his own hands and scored the equalizer, sending Zagreb fans into a frenzy over the draw. However, a 92nd minute goal by Vienna Striker Kain who profited by a rebound after Hoffmann's shot was deflected onto the post by Zagreb keeper Owen Majmunovic. Both teams had equal chances, but Vienna's effective shooting allowed them to keep all three points today.
