Match Summary

MD 05 FC AMSTERDAM 1 – 4 VIENNA KONTINENTAL

Vienna looks to continue their streak as they face a battered and bruised Amsterdam.

Written by Saad Maan, Forta Evening News

In what would end up nothing short of a slaughter, it was none other than Moritz Hoffmann, striker for Vienna, who would open up the scoring. Following a counter-attack initiated by Mungo Scruyazelv in the 18th minute following an interception, Hoffmann would be on the receiving end of a long pass from Matheus dos Reis. In true Hoffmann fashion, he smashed it near post from outside the box. Going into half-time with a scoreline of one nil to the visitors, none could have predicted the Vienna onslaught that would come. Only six minutes after the second half kicked off, Emergoat McRoyale found himself near the touchline. After spotting Matheus dos Reis at the back post, he sent in a lofted cross, which was tucked away by the tiny Brazilian. In the 60th minute, Siefad Rahman found himself in the exact same spot which McRoyale did for Vienna's second goal. Similarly to that goal, a cross was sent in to the back post, this time with Jaxon as the target. Amsterdam adjusted, and as such, Jaxon headed the ball backwards to an open Matheus dos Reis, who would score his second of the night. In an act of desperation, Amsterdam turned to black magic. Charlie Pawley passed the ball to Tasos Agonis, the Vienna defender, who passed it into his own net, scoring an own goal. It is believed that Pawley had performed some kind of ancient ritual before being substituted on, but we are not able to confirm any of this information. To wrap up this humiliating match, Gavin Boyd sent in a cross in the 88th minute. This time Max Jaxon, who found himself near the penalty spot unmarked, scored with a first time effort, confirming the 4-1 victory.
