Match Summary

London fights back to beat Berlin

By: Conner Munist

First and only FSL League winners London aim to finish 2nd even after a disappointing loss to Zagreb, despite being FSL's first and only league winners. Berlin, who are struggling in the table, were optimistic about this game after a good draw against Lisboa. There were no tactical changes.

Although Berlin started well, it was London who scored first. Floyd Lawton loses the ball in a dangerous area, with Peest and Amine taking advantage. Great play by both players before Peest is muscled to the ground, Amine strikes the loose ball into the top corner.

Berlin however responded early with Noah-Adam finding Agachuthu in the box, who embarrasses debutant King with the first tough and tucks it home. Berlin should have scored again after a huge mistake by King, but they couldn’t capitalize.

Second Half it was shockingly Berlin who took the lead with their tiki-taka tactics. Noah-Adam places a through ball for Floyd Lawton, who redeems his earlier mistake with a great finish. Still celebrating the lead, London respond as quick as possible with new left back Prince crossing the ball into Tomar who finishes it.

At 2-2 London go even more attacking with Ibanez Lopez coming back from injury being subbed on. Eventually at the 82nd minute it's Tolvani who puts in a great ball for one of the signings of the season Peest to make it 3-2.

Flop of the match: King (CB) awful performance from the London debutant, embarrassed in the first goal, nearly gifted them a 2nd with a clueless header and was sleeping for the Berlin 2nd goal. A hall of shame performance.

Man of the match: With an assist and the crucial winning goal, Peest (AMF) bagged himself a 7.5 rating and MOTM.
