Match Summary

VK Vienna VS FC Berlin

: Harry ThumbCracker III

Boy, oh boy. Welcome to Berlin. Vienna was predicted to BLAST BERLIN OUT OF THE WATER. No losses since season 1? Berlin tried to do the impossible. The match began and it was clear Vienna wasn't trying very hard. In the 15th minute though, a lucky cross nearly gets Vienna the first goal. The header unfortunately went over the goal post. Another header just a few minutes later (19th) also nearly went in. Berlin wasn't doing ANYTHING on the offensive end while Vienna got close to scoring a couple times. Am amazing chance in the 30th minute squandered by poor dribbling. And another in the 40th minute. A great cross pass that led to a bad shot. AND ANOTHER in the 43rd minute! Still 0-0. The First half ended with only 1 shot on target (From Vienna) and 9 interceptions (Also for Vienna). The game looked grim for both teams as Vienna struggles to keep up their winning streak. Even Jmart was bored... The second half sure didn't start very action-packed. A few bad opportunities for Vienna and we were already in the 60th minute. But suddenly in the 62nd minute, ROMRO KEITEL WITH THE SICK DRIBBLING TO SLAM IT HOME. THEIR FIRST REAL OPPURTUNITY ENDING IN GOAL. 1-0, BERLIN WITH THE OPPURTUNITY FOR ONE OF THE BIGGEST UPSETS IN FSL HISTORY. And in the 70th minute, Hoffmann nearly scoring after an amazing lob pass. And same goes for Berlin in the 73rd minute. It seemed as though just now did these two teams realize they were playing. And in the 75th minute, Max Jason with the easy tap-in after a right-on-point pass. 80th minute, Vienna corner. Over the crossbar. A SUPER CLUTCH INTERCEPTION IN THE 80th MINUTE LEADS TO A GOAL FROM BRADELY KEETCH, Berlin is surely disappointed with the TERRIBLE interception they let pass. It is now 2-1, Vienna. And Berlin with another disappointing offense + interception leads to an easy lob that gave Hoffmann the easy shot which he... unsurprisingly SMASHED IN. 3-1, Vienna. Berlin had an amazing chance to get a great upset, but collapsed in the final moments. And in the 90th+1 minute, Vienna nearly scores once more. With the 90th+3 minute ending the game, Berlin kneeled to their Kings Vienna, after trying to overthrow them in the 62nd minute. Berlin with one of the most embarrassing goals of the year. Vienna keeps their #1 position while Berlin drops down to the relegation battle.
