Match Summary

MD16: London WW 2 - 1 Brussels KV

✍️ Written by: Ted Iverson

In an expected and important game of the season, London and Brussels face each other, both wanting to leave the stadium with the other 3 points, after the defeat of both teams in the previous matchday, while Brussels lost for the second time in a row, this time at home against the Scandinavian team, Norden FK, London lost in the Dutch capital vs FC Amsterdam in a surprising match, which was undoubtedly important to continue the good streak they had. Both teams want to win again, and fight more in the title fight, but only one will win.

The first half started as many expected, London attacked, attacked and looked for a space everywhere, while Brussels barely touched the ball, and as London has shown, this works, since in the 22nd minute they scored the first, then from a rebound of the ball to King Arthur, which Rahimi took advantage of and scored the first of the game.

The first half continued with the teams creating several scoring opportunities, which never entered the nets, until in the 34th minute, Brussels found a gap in the English defense, and they did not waste the opportunity, Vukovic, after seeing the gap, gave a pass to Tijani who ended up scoring the equalizer in the game.

After 1-1, London attacked, attacked, attacked and attacked, looking for the second goal, and it didnt take long, since after several failed attempts, Rahimi scored his second goal in the game, thanks to a play created by him and Amine, London went into halftime having the lead at home, while Brussels aimed to turn the match around.

In the second half, Brussels had the ball longer than London, but that did not prevent London from having dangerous plays, and it remained that way until the end of the game, London beat Brussels 2-1 at home, Rahimi was the figure, he was chosen MOTM, and people wonder, will this be the beginning of personal success for the Moroccan wonderkid?
