ZAGREB STEAL ALL 3 POINTS IN LONDON LATE ON

By: Nicklas Ulykke

The game between 2nd and 3rd place was quite even, none of the teams really got started.

Both teams had chances, but no one took them, and it was looking like a 0-0 bore draw until Zagreb NK midfielder Bebe Barry finally broke the deadlock in the 83rd minute with a super strike on the edge of the box with 4 London players around him.

Minutes later, Marcus Neagu made it 2-0 with a great finish after a beautiful through ball from Jay Sobaksu. London striker Amine Amzal got one back at the end, holding off 3 defenders to score past Zagreb keeper Majmunovic, but it would be too late, as Zagreb picked up all 3 points in London.

Bebe Barry was crowned MOTM after his goal that changed the game and Zagreb are now just 4 points behind league leaders Vienna Kontinental, however, with Vienna yet to play this matchday. Ball possession went London’s way but Zagreb’s 7 shots (4 on target) to 2 (1) London’s one shot on target being Amzal’s goal, Zagreb could be called the deserving winners.
