The Parisians cause an upset at home

It was a snowy day in France as the Parisians aimed to take all three points against the inform visitors FC Amsterdam. Amsterdam shocked London last time out with a 2-0 victory after an excellent performance.
As the two teams walked out of the tunnel and on to the pitch, it was going to be an exciting bout between the two teams aiming to get all the points to support their season. However, it would be an early delight for Paris, as in the 4th minute, a header sent up in the box reached Joao Paulo, who calmly sent it past Oscar Vert to open the scoring for Paris early on.
Amsterdam weren’t going to be let down early, as chances were being created, but not one was dispatched as the Parisians were able to clear and give themselves a breather.
The half-time whistle blew, and both teams walked back into the tunnel to discuss their half-time tactics. Paris and Amsterdam walked out of the tunnel to play the second half.
Amsterdam wanting to get a positive result like last time, but Paris had other plans. Amsterdam kept the attack going, pushing their players further and further up, but just simply could not get past the Paris defence as they went for an attack.
In the 70th minute, Jackie Høfflånd would put the nail in the coffin, as the atmosphere exploded. Amsterdam, despite being one of the most in-form teams in the league, weren't able to follow up on their impressive victory against London WW. The Parisians grab an important three points as they look to escape the relegation places.
