Match Summary

NORDEN 1 - 1 BRUSSELS: MD 21 REVIEW

by Ron Innbach Turd III

Two arguably mid-tier teams go off on a battle to cement their legacy against their rival team.

The match began and Norden had no trouble getting a nice opportunity to score. A bad interception from Brussels nearly cost them the 0-1 very early in the match. The shot was just barely to the left of the crossbar and couldn't hit. Just 2 minutes later (Minute 12) an open run from Brussels led to nothing as Norden defense managed to get a foot on that shot.

In the 30th minute a complex move gets Brussels their 2nd opportunity of the day. The shot hit the goal-post though and led to a disappointing run of attacks that led to nothing. An array of brilliant passes get Norden a fast-paced goal opportunity which they take for an absolute banger. Kenan Bosnic kicking the first goal of the game.

Starting the second half, Brussels went on with their good opportunities leading to off-goal shots. Norden goalkeeper hadn't need to let out a sweat. Brussels goalkeeper though... had a lot of work to do. Norden was attacking with some scary shots that somehow never hit home. Even a cockblock had to be done in the 70th minute.

All of this changed in the 81st minute where Brussels unexpectedly hit a fast-paced plan and caught Norden and even Jmart off-guard. This awesome goal tied up the game, saving Brussels from a tough relegation situation. George Babatunde perhaps saved his team from jonining Paris and Roma.

Nothing else happened in this game. More of close attacks leading to a turnover. Brussels saves themselves from the loss as Norden fails to win once again.
