Thor's Lighting Leaves Hamburg in Ruins

by: Adrian Wojnarowski

In what would turn out to be a one-sided affair, the 5th seed Hamburg visits the home of the Viking, Norden FK. Norden FK opens up a narrow 3-2-3-2 low block formations that help them create bountiful chances through long passes in the middle. While the visitor, Hamburg uses their favourite 4-1-3-2 with Akiyama and Oscar upfront and David Schammer assuming the role as the lone DMF. An Intellectual dummy run by Tyrese Harden in the 27th minute opens up the space in the last line of Hamburg's defence that allows Thor Odinson to unleash his striker's instinct into the back of the goal. Schramm who was placed as DM in the Hamburg formation, was instructed to go much further up after the first goal by Thor. Tyrese Harden trying to solidify his name as one of the best players of this game by sending another cheeky pass to Pingu Nootazuki at the far post which leads to a perfectly executed shot to the back of the net. Dakota Scott is the first one to blame for Hamburg's disorganized defence as he's getting subbed off to replaced by Jack Yuill. The addition of Jack Yuill proves to be meaningful as his first touch of the match was an excellent early cross to Akiyama that unfortunately failed to send the ball past the goalkeeper. Thor Odinson, who has been superb as a deep-lying forward, completes his performance as he sends a skilful through pass in the 68 minute that taps the last nail in Hamburg's coffin. The dominant side of Norden FK was able to shut the Hamburg on all ends. Hamburg was left speechless as the first match in which they failed to score a single goal in the entire 90 minutes. Thor Odinson thunderous performance and perfect two top in Kenan Bosnic and Tyrese Harden is the absolute reason why they're the dominant side of the match.
