Match Summary

Amsterdam steals all 3 points in Italy
By: Yureen Sheikh, Dubai TV

After a tough fight against Zagreb, Roma are looking closer than ever to their absolute best form. The Italians lined up in a back 4 with an attacking trio of Stefánsson Rizzo and Freulerista behind Kamel. On the other hand, Amsterdam switched to a defensive 4-4-2 with Will O'Neill and Bai Chao as Center Forwards.

Right from the start of the first half, Roma started pressing high up the pitch, but as soon as Amsterdam won their first possession of the game around the 30th minute, Damon Nurse quickly passed the ball to Bai Chao near the edge of the box. The new center forward then immediately turned around and scored in the bottom left corner.

The Italians dominated possession but couldn't penetrate the Dutch wall as Amsterdam maintained their solid low block and a midfield line of 5 players until the end. During the 79th minute it was a beautiful one-two between Cristiano Rulando and Desai, followed by a mazing run from Rulando behind the Amsterdam backline before he sent a pinpoint cross, the star forward Henry Kamel was so close to end his scoring drought in style, but Oscar Vert cleared the header off the line by his leg.
