Kerberos blanked as their woes against the top sides continues
By: Drew Peacock

There were several intriguing matchups to be found on the pitch as 2nd place Zagreb NK hosted 5th place LP Kerberos. Zagreb captain and certified monster Bebe Barry was set to face off against Kerberos' defensive star Matthew Lennon. On the other side, Kerberos' firey attackers Max Jaxon and, last seasons' player of the season, Jethro faced off against the best defensive duo in the league Aki PawPaw and Adolf Lund.

The first half had 2 goals, the 1st scored from a Bebe Barry header in the 26th and the 2nd from Akiyama "Sushi Taco" Hernandez in added time. Both goals came via attacks down Zagreb's right winger Jay Sobaksu. Barry's goal came off of a dangerous cross, while Akiyama's came via a direct assist from Soba. Zagreb leading at the break, 2-0.

Kerberos, despite being down two goals, made no half time changes. Zagreb came out with two new changes as Alexei Alpha and Hugo Vargas made way for the Super-Sub, Gypsy Messi, Marcus Neagu and Giosuppe Spaghettini. Those changes would prove fruitful as Zagreb was able to get a third from Marcus Neagu (assisted by Barry) in the 79th minute; 3-0.

In one of the strangest results of the season, Zagreb, with only two defenders, held a clean sheet against Kerberos who field four attackers. To add insult to injury, Kerberos only managed 1 shot in the match and it was not even on target. Zagreb doing everything they can to stay in the title race this season.
