Match Report Zagreb vs Roma

It was a crucial game for the table, everyone had their eyes on Zagreb vs Roma. It was Zagreb, in 2nd, against Roma who were 2nd last. Both teams needed points, Zagreb stuck to their formula, but Roma went more defensive hoping to pick up at least a point.

Zagreb straight away went high tempo, as they couldn’t afford drawing if they wanted to stay in the title race. For the first 30 minutes, it in fact seemed pretty even, with Zagreb holding possession but not being able to break through. However, in the 33rd minute, the breakthrough happened, and it was, of course, Bebe Barry. Hugo Vargas with a floated ball into the box and Barry heads it into the back of the net, bullying the Roma defense. Zagreb went pushing for a 2nd before halftime, but it remained 1-0. After a pretty poor first half Neagu comes on for Sobaksu, where as Rulando came on for Roma. Ten minutes later Zagreb find the 2nd this time with his feet assisted by Alex Alpha, Bebe Barry spins the defender and puts it into the bottom corner. Zagreb looking to push to improve their GD had no mercy and 5 minutes later the Cuban delivers the corner right onto the head of Bebe Barry for a hatrick. Zagreb could have easily got a 4th but the tactical choice of putting Lennon upfront proved to be a mistake.

The whistle blew at 3-0 with Zagreb still on Vienna’s toes where as Roma only remain 1 point safe from relegation and are the least inform team in the league. Truly a shocking season for them.

MOTM

Bebe Barry, Hatrick Hero bullied the Roma defence. The league is too easy for him.

Flop of the Match

Henry Kamel, Hard to choose as nearly every Roma player got 5.0 but we expect the captain to atleast lead the way but he was non existent. To stay up Roma need him to step up.
