Athens Kerberos 1-1 Istanbul

The beginning of the season was sloppy for both Athens and Istanbul as they drew their opening games of the season so now they both needed the 3 points to enter the top 4. Both Athens Kerberos and Istanbul were fighting for the opening goals, but as Istanbul broke through they failed to find the net in the 33rd and 40th minute. As the first half ended both teams went in and came back motivated for the second half where they needed to break the deadlock. Then in the 64th minute, Mick Lee played a sexy pass to Ilias Garcia and he ran through the 3 defenders and opened the scoring for the Greece Lightnings. By now Istanbul knew that they needed to focus and try to equalize. In the dying minutes Istanbul was on an attack, could they equalize and take home one point? A cross came in from Nico Alvarez into the box and Arif Nazhim scored a bulleting header to equalize in the 88th minute for Istanbul and it was called game. Both teams are now tied at 9th with 2 points this season.
