On the other side, Berlin came off a goalless draw against Norden in their previous season opener, setting the stage for an intriguing battle. The breakthrough was helped by a seamless connection with his World Cup teammate, Moise Bean, whose assist sent Milan's fans into a frenzy. The match continued with cautious play from both teams, resulting in a tense and cagey atmosphere. Romeo Keitel provided a glimmer of hope for Berlin in the 32nd minute with a powerful shot from outside the box that cannoned off the post, leaving Milan's defence breathing a sigh of relief. Moise Bean, a constant threat, showcased his skill once again in the 39th minute. Dribbling past two defenders while storming down the byline, he cut inside and unleashed a fierce shot that Berlin's goalkeeper, Rimjob Remmington, just barely parried away.
