BENDTNER BRACE HELPS VIENNA MAKE IT 10 IN 10
by: Nicklas Ulykke

Vienna Kontinental continued their winning streak, making it 10 wins in 10 games, with a 3-0 win against Berlin. Vienna are now 10 points clear at the top of the table, while Berlin sit in the relegation zone in 11th place with just 6 points.

Lord Bendtner, playing on the left wing, opened the scoring for Vienna in the 14th minute. He controlled the chip from Matheus Dos Reis, taking the ball past Berlin defender Michael Kent and then held off Maalik Wagner to unleash an amazing curling strike past Berlin goalkeeper Rimjob Remmington.

Both sides would come close to scoring, but the score stayed 1-0 until Vienna won a corner in the 35th minute. Bradley Keetch made a perfect delivery to the center of the box and Bendtner met it with an unstoppable header to make it a brace for himself and 2-0 for Vienna.

It was a quite one-sided first half, but that changed later on with Berlin having more control in the second half but Moritz Hoffmann, FSL's top scorer, sealed the win after the star of the first half Lord Bendtner fed him an insane through ball. The pass left Hoffmann 1v1 with the keeper, and he completed the counter-attack with a great finish. Lord Bendtner was crowned Man of the Match with 2 goals and 1 assist.
